Dollars at Work
The Big Extravaganza
Our goal is to host one annual Internationally acclaimed Indian cultural and performing arts event that would attract a large community audience and showcase different genres of music, dance and the performing arts from the Indian subcontinent. One that will be a real show stopper, and bring the audience to its feet and wanting more! Donate to Raaga and help us bring quality programs that spread our culture!
Treasured Moments
Throughout the year we will bring talented artists from India to perform in a more intimate setting for an evening filled with music and quiet reflection to enjoy India’s heritage. Help Raaga meet the expenses of hosting artists while in Fort Myers.
And in Between
Fulfilling our Mission Statement, Artists from different genres of music will be invited to teach a lecture series with demonstrations at local schools, and colleges of music and dance. Raaga is already actively building partnerships with FSW and FGCU. These lectures and demonstrations will be made available to our members and at no expense to the institutions of education. Help Raaga by paying for a lec-dem.
Become a Volunteer
The gift of your time is invaluable. We hope that you not only consider becoming a member, but also consider volunteering. We need your help to spread the word and promote events through flyer distributions, phone calls and networking. As event dates draw closer, you may volunteer to help with event transportation, housing of artists, or at the venue itself. Age and ethnicity are not considered. If you are someone who would like to learn more about the Indian culture, you’re welcome to join us.
