About us
Raaga, Inc. is a Florida nonprofit arts and education organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of music, dance and performing art forms from the Indian Subcontinent through the medium of concerts, lecture demonstrations, regularly scheduled teaching sessions and e-learning.
Founded in 2015, Raaga is an exempt organization under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.

All Raaga board members are volunteers and do not receive any payment.
Harshad Bhatt
Moved to Fort Myers straight from Hyderabad in 1997.
Greatly interested in Indian music, Harshad has been a member of Raaga since its inception.

Always looking to foster Indian Culture and encouraging Indian artists, Mallika
enjoys contributing to Raaga by putting together publicity material and
maintaining the website.
She is also appreciative of the music classes conducted by Lakshmi Krishnan.

much enjoy both classical dance and

Shaila comes from the colorful state of Rajasthan, India. She learnt classical Indian Dance, Kathak, at the age of 5. Shaila believes that Raaga can be a great tool in enlightening youth and adults, bringing peace and tolerance to the diverse population of SWFL.
